Ben officially joined Bradford Allen in 2024 after previously working as an intern for the firm. He is an associate in the asset management group, where he assists in managing the firm’s portfolio of various properties. His role involves analyzing the financial performance of individual properties, evaluating capital expenditure and budget plans, and helping to improve the overall value of the firm’s portfolio.
A graduate of the University of Missouri, Ben earned a Bachelor of Science in finance with an emphasis in real estate. He grew up in the western suburbs and currently lives in Wrigleyville. Outside of the office, Ben enjoys watching his favorite Chicago sports teams (Bears, Bulls, and Cubs), traveling, and exploring new places around the city.
Bryan joined Bradford Allen in June 2024 and brings with him more than 13 years of direct experience in the hotel industry ranging from on-property operations and revenue management to ownership and asset management. Leveraging his diverse experience, Bryan is responsible for interfacing with stakeholders at all levels to ensure that each of the firm’s hospitality assets is optimized and meets strategic objectives and investor goals, as well as supports the firm’s overall hospitality asset strategy.
Before joining Bradford Allen, Bryan served as a director of asset management for Tishman. During his seven years with Tishman, he oversaw and/or supported the asset management of the firm’s hotel portfolio of varying management structures, service levels, and sizes ranging from 100 to more than 1,200 keys in addition to supporting the firm’s acquisitions and new development efforts. Prior to that, he served in several on-property management roles in both front office and revenue management, where his implementation of successful profit improvement, revenue generation, and guest service initiatives caught the attention of the hotel’s asset management and ownership group: Tishman.
Bryan received a Bachelor of Science in hospitality management from the University of Central Florida. In his free time, he enjoys (attempting) to play guitar and relaxing with his wife, Jill, and their dog, Tommy.
As an associate director in business legal affairs at Bradford Allen, Jessica fosters strategic partnerships and drives legal excellence. With a nuanced understanding of contract law, she expertly collaborates with outside counsel to navigate complex legal landscapes.
Jessica’s background in legal project management includes expertise in negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder collaboration. At DISH Wireless LLC, she oversaw successful nationwide launches and a merger, and developed the legal operations department. Her experience also includes work at the International Institute of Wisconsin and the City of Milwaukee, where she contributed to initiatives like the Milwaukee Streetcar project. Additionally, she has worked at Marquette Law School and volunteered at a pro bono clinic.
Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree in law and psychology from Marquette University and a certification in contract management from UCLA. She is currently pursuing an MBA to further bridge the gap between legal and business affairs.
Originally from California, Jessica grew up in Orange County. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, exploring new restaurants, visiting art studios, and kickboxing.
CJ joined Bradford Allen in 2024 as a member of the real estate finance team. His responsibilities include evaluating financial strategies and analyzing potential developments and transactions, as well as assessing risks and opportunities across the portfolio.
Prior to joining Bradford Allen, CJ worked as a valuations associate at Revantage, where he was responsible for financial reporting of over $20 billion of Blackstone’s real estate portfolio. He specialized in both student and manufactured housing.
A native of the Chicago suburbs, CJ grew up in Barrington, Illinois. He majored in finance with a minor in computer science at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. CJ is an avid fan of the Chicago Blackhawks and other main interests include golf, cars, and traveling.

Lucas Huerta is a Director of Asset Management at BA with 6 years of experience in commercial real estate. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from Grand Valley State University and is currently completing his MBA at DePaul University with a concentration in Real Estate Investment & Finance. In his current role, Lucas is responsible for assisting with all aspects of corporate and national project management, bringing his knowledge and experience in project management, lease negotiations, and building operations to the team. Lucas has also worked in property management for JLL, where he served as the Assistant General Manager for 111 W Jackson Blvd. In his personal life, Lucas is an avid sports fan and enjoys volunteering at the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

Aghfar joined Bradford Allen in August 2022 to lead the firm’s hospitality group. In this capacity, he actively manages the existing hotel portfolio and oversees lodging acquisition and development strategy. With eight years of experience as an investment sales hotel broker, Aghfar specializes in institutional-quality and value-add hotel assets.
Prior to joining Bradford Allen, Aghfar served as a vice president for Hodges Ward Elliott’s select service/portfolio investment sales group in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, he managed sales execution, transaction management, and financial analysis, while directly facilitating deals worth over $100 million. Overall, he was involved in investment sales and refinancing assignments totaling more than $1 billion.
Aghfar graduated cum laude from Georgia State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in managerial sciences and finance. He was raised in Warner Robins, Georgia, and now resides in Chicago’s South Loop with his wife, Ayesha, and their mini Goldendoodle, Yayo. Outside of work, Aghfar enjoys traveling, cooking, boxing, and hiking.
With more than eight years in commercial, medical, retail, and residential property and facility management, Logan brings extensive financial, operational, and project management experience to his role at Bradford Allen, where he provides asset management services for the firm’s portfolio of owned properties.
Prior to joining Bradford Allen, Logan worked for Northwestern Medicine from 2014 to 2020 as a Property Operations Manager, where he managed a large commercial office high-rise (541 N. Fairbanks Court), a large medical office high-rise (676 N. St. Clair Street), the hospital’s single residential property in downtown Chicago (244 E. Pearson Street), and a development property in Old Irving Park (4441-4459 Irving Park Road). He also oversaw the finances of the main hospital’s retail portfolio. Previously, Logan also served as a Tenant Services Coordinator and Assistant Property Manager at Golub and Company.
A graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, Logan received a B.A. in business administration with a specialization in finance. He is married and the proud owner of a rescue dog names Parsnip. In his free time, Logan enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, and volleyball, as well as playing and collecting board games.

Steven is responsible for all aspects of corporate and national project management from strategic planning to on-site execution. Steven is well-versed in each stage of project management including architecture, construction, development, engineering, technology, and furniture selection.
With a unique ability to problem solve, Steven is able to better service clients by understanding the long-term implications of their commercial real estate decisions. Working closely with large-space users ranging from local non-profits to international companies, Steven’s strategic approach ensures that project objectives are on schedule, on budget, and achieved to the highest standards of quality.
Prior to joining Bradford Allen, Steven was the senior manager of real estate at Hudson, a professional staffing and solution firm. While at Hudson, he oversaw all commercial real estate decisions for their North America office locations. Steven lives in Chicago’s West Loop with his wife and twin daughters. Building on his business education from Nichols College in Massachusetts, he completed a master’s degree in business administration from Chadron State College in 2015.

Brian joined Bradford Allen in 2020, bringing more than 23 years of experience in commercial and corporate real estate in all areas of asset management, property/facility management, and transactional work. He focuses on the asset management of both owned and third-party properties, while also supporting special projects for leadership.
Prior to joining the firm, Brian worked at Northwestern Medicine, leading real estate integration through a rapid-growth period for the health system. His responsibilities included oversight of property operations, real estate finance, and real estate transactions. During his tenure, Northwestern Medicine grew from a two-campus real estate portfolio to more than 100 sites of care; most recently, Brian headed up transactional work resulting in significant immediate care expansion throughout the system.
Previously, Brian worked at Equus Capital Partners, overseeing asset management activities for a Midwest portfolio of properties including 200 South Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Tallgrass Corporate Center in Bolingbrook, and Keystone at the Crossing in Indianapolis.
Brian received a B.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In his free time, he enjoys traveling the world, skiing, rafting, kayaking, and camping. Michael joined Bradford Allen in 2015 as a senior managing director in the investment advisory group. He brings with him a breadth of experience over a twenty-five-plus-year career with leadership experience in asset management, property management, and leasing/brokerage.
Prior to joining BA, Michael was in a senior leadership role at Foresite Realty Partners with oversight of the leasing and operations of nearly four million square feet of office, industrial, and retail properties. In this capacity, he successfully advised some of the world’s largest banks and institutions, such as Wells Fargo, Starwood Capital, LNR Partners, CW Capital, Key Bank, PNC Midland, and C-III Capital.
Previously, Michael served as a principal with his own firm and held senior roles at DTZ Real Estate (acquired by Cushman & Wakefield) and the predecessor to MB Real Estate (acquired by Transwestern Real Estate). His dedication, experience, and resourcefulness have proven to be strong assets over the course of his career.
Michael received his bachelor in business from Bradley University and is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois. He resides in northwest suburban Chicago with his wife and daughters. In his free time, he likes to travel, cook, and participate in outdoor sports.
Jason joined the firm’s New York City office in 2021, where he focuses on deal sourcing, acquisitions, business development, and valuations.
With more than 18 years in the industry, Jason has expertise across many segments and geographies. Having most recently come from institutional investment sales teams at Colliers and JLL, his real estate valuation skills—including over $14 billion in closed transactions—add deep experience to the Bradford Allen team.
Jason graduated from The George Washington University in Washington, DC with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
Danielle joined Bradford Allen in December 2022 as Senior Managing Director to establish and lead the firm’s multifamily platform. In this role she manages the multifamily acquisitions program from deal sourcing to closing. Consistent with BA’s vertically integrated investment philosophy, Danielle also supervises the portfolio’s in-house asset and property management teams. In addition to her over two decades of experience in multifamily acquisitions and operations, she is an accomplished professional artist.
Tom works closely with the acquisition and debt origination teams to provide ARGUS evaluation modeling, underwriting, and analyses; to originate mortgage, mezzanine and preferred equity financing for Bradford Allen’s investment fund; and to place debt for Bradford Allen’s real estate portfolio.
Tom’s responsibilities also include analyzing potential leases and assessing the financial impact on an investment, managing and evaluating both property-level and investment performance, and completing detailed quarterly financial statement analyses. He supports the acquisition and debt origination teams in researching and analyzing potential investments, modeling capital structures, and closing transactions.
Prior to joining Bradford Allen Capital, Tom worked as an Investment Analyst at Mid-America Real Estate Group. He was responsible for detailed financial underwriting and proformas, preparation of offering memoranda, evaluation of due diligence materials, and market research. Tom also interned at Draper and Kramer with their Commercial Mortgage group.
Tom graduated from the University of Michigan where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He currently lives in Old Town after growing up in the western suburbs. Outside of the office, he enjoys following his favorite sports teams (Michigan football and basketball, along with the Chicago Bulls and White Sox), traveling the US and Europe, and discovering new bars and restaurants with friends in the city.
James joined Bradford Allen in the spring of 2022 as an analyst specializing in financial modeling for equity and debt investments across multifamily, hospitality, and office asset classes.
With three years of prior experience in corporate finance, James brings a strong analytical skill set to his day-to-day tasks. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Illinois—Chicago.
Beyond his professional pursuits, James is passionate about purchasing and renovating investment properties throughout Chicago. In 2022, he founded UIC’s first endowed real estate scholarship fund, which recognizes undergraduate students in UIC’s College of Real Estate who demonstrate community leadership, academic excellence, and a genuine passion for the real estate industry.

Chuck joined Bradford Allen in 2014, bringing over thirty years’ experience as a banker, broker, and advisor to commercial investors across all asset types. As part of Bradford Allen Investment Advisors, he directs real estate finance strategy, advising on development projects, transactions, and other investment opportunities, as well as assessing risks and opportunities at the portfolio level.
Chuck began his career as a commercial lender with the Royal Bank of Canada and CIB Bank in Chicago. He then spent a decade working at two of the largest commercial real estate services companies. At JLL, as senior vice president in capital markets, he handled debt and equity placements for both public and private institutional investors’ developers and opportunity funds. Then as managing director for Cushman & Wakefield’s Equity, Debt and Structured Finance Group, he led the firm’s practice in the Central Region (Chicago, Dallas, and Houston).
Chuck holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS in economics from Northwestern University. He lives in Old Town, and his interests include his two sons, tennis, cycling, alpine skiing, and reading.
John Butler joined BA Investment Advisors as an executive managing director in 2016 to lead Bradford Allen’s new acquisitions department. With more than twenty-five years of industry experience, John brings extensive knowledge of the commercial acquisitions process to the role along with a proven track record for success.
Throughout his esteemed career, John has been directly involved in acquiring over $2 billion dollars of real estate. He has experience handling a variety of product types such as commercial office space, industrial and medical offices, retail, and multi-family and senior housing. Prior to joining BA Investment Advisors, he held senior investment roles at Next Realty, ORIX Real Estate Capital, Broe Real Estate, and General Growth Properties over his career. John also served as a Principal with ForeFront Properties in Chicago, Illinois.

Emily joined BA in 2022 as Investor Relations and Finance Manager, based out of our New York City office. Her primary focus at BA is to facilitate collaboration between internal teams and external investors. Emily acts as a liaison within the company, producing investment-related materials and communicating performance updates.
Prior to joining Bradford Allen, Emily was an Investor Relations Associate at Bain Capital. Emily earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics with a minor in political science and finance from Providence College. Outside of work, Emily enjoys running, golfing, skiing, and traveling. She also dedicates her time to volunteer work, actively supporting Experience Camps, a grief camp for children who have lost a parent or sibling. As a member of the regional advisory committee, Emily plays a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives, including camper outreach, retention, event planning, and fundraising.
