ALEECE FELDBERG

With more than 12 years in finance management, Aleece brings proven success in providing leadership necessary to guide financial operations through strong collaboration with senior management along with the effective building of financial management teams that actively support an organization’s mission and values. Prior to joining BA, Aleece gained her deep operational acumen though front-line roles with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, Warwick Hotels & Resorts, Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, SMASHotels, and most recently, Heitman LLC., a real estate investment management firm.

Aleece was born and raised in the suburban city of Highland Park, about 25 miles north of downtown Chicago. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University and a Master of Accountancy from DePaul University. In her free time, Aleece enjoys travelling, training for marathons, and trying new restaurants around the city.

 

TOM PRETET

Tom plays a crucial role in preparing and reviewing the company’s financial statements monthly. His efforts are key to ensuring the financial health of the organization and fostering strategic decision-making. Beyond routine financial management, Tom is passionate about identifying and enacting process improvements within the corporate accounting framework, reflecting his commitment to operational excellence.

He has had a successful career in accounting in the real estate industry, with a considerable amount of time spent at Senior Lifestyle Corporation, where he specialized in senior housing. Tom also possesses expertise in student housing with Corespaces and industrial real estate with Bridge Industrial, showcasing his diverse background in the real estate sector.

Outside of work, Tom’s world revolves around his young son, Cameron, and his dog, Winston. A sports enthusiast, he enjoys following Chicago-based teams and the University of Iowa’s athletics.

 

STANISLAV DENISOV

Stanislav began his professional journey in the accounting sector for private equity firms before pivoting to treasury. Today, he channels his vast knowledge in transactions, reconciliations, fraud prevention, and cash management toward refining and implementing financial processes and best practices. Stanislav’s primary objective is to develop secure, streamlined, and efficient systems for transfers, cash analysis, and bank account oversight.

Before joining Bradford Allen, he served as a treasury analyst at Watermark Lodging Trust. There, he was entrusted with overseeing the cash flow, banking, and payment procedures for a selection of privately owned hotels.

Stanislav is the financial guru among his circle of family and friends, often consulted for budgeting and financial advice. In his downtime, he loves rock climbing, playing ping pong, and seeking out spicy dishes.

 

JACOB GINZBURG

Jacob became a part of the Bradford Allen team in 2023, stepping into the role of property accountant with a focus on commercial property accounting. With valuable prior experience in both commercial and residential property portfolios from his tenure at Kass Management Services, Jacob effectively draws upon this knowledge in his current role. Additionally, his experience as a fund administrator at Alter Domus further enhances his expertise.

Hailing from the suburbs of Chicago, Jacob is an alum of DePaul University, where he secured his bachelor’s degree in finance and management information systems. Outside of work, Jacob is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He’s also keen on sports, frequently engaging in tennis and pickleball.

 

RICHARD SAKOWSKI

Richard serves as a senior property accountant at Bradford Allen, bringing over a quarter-century of real estate experience to the role. He manages the full month-end close process for various office properties, as well as handling annual tenant reconciliations and assisting with yearly audits. Before joining the firm, he held a similar position at Avison Young, where he managed financials for multiple office and mixed-use properties. Richard is well versed in Excel and has hands-on experience with accounting software such as MRI and Yardi.

A Chicago native through and through, Richard enjoys culinary adventures, globetrotting, and animal care in his personal life.

 

DAVE OSTROWSKI

Dave is responsible for cash management and maintaining banking relationships at Bradford Allen. Working closely with all departments within the company, Dave helps facilitate cash reporting, money movement, and cash forecasting needs. Dave also oversees the accounts payable function and ensures the timely payment of expenses to external vendors and lenders.

After working in public accounting, mainly auditing manufacturing clients, Dave started his real estate career over twelve years ago as a financial reporting accountant with GEM Realty Capital. He then joined IRC Retail Centers in Oak Brook before the company was acquired by Pine Tree. Following the merger, Dave shifted his focus to treasury and cash management. With his background as a CPA, Dave brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Bradford Allen in managing office, retail, hospitality, and residential properties, allowing him to assist with financial reporting while also managing cash needs.

Dave is a lifelong resident of the Chicago suburbs and a graduate of Loyola University Chicago. He met his wife there, and now they reside in Lombard with their two children. Dave is an avid Chicago sports fan and also enjoys traveling in his free time.

 

KEN FLETCHER

Ken oversees the Accounts Payable department at Bradford Allen, where he manages invoicing, vendor relations, and payment processing, while also working to enhance the company’s AP processes and procedures. He brings more than 15 years of experience in finance and accounting, including his most recent role leading the AP department and managing a large national retail portfolio for a property management company.

Ken lives in Lombard, Illinois, with his wife, Andi, and their two children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, weekends up north, and golfing with friends and coworkers. A self-proclaimed gearhead, Ken also handles live sound for Andi’s party rock cover band, Reality Bytes, which plays hits from the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s.

 

ELICE WILLIAMS

Elice has been a senior accountant at Bradford Allen since 2023, overseeing financial reporting and data management for month, quarter, and year-end closings, as well as acquisitions and ensuring adherence to accounting standards. She brings over 15 years of experience in real estate, specializing in multifamily and residential properties. Her previous roles include positions at FirstService Residential and Revantage.

Elice holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in accounting. She is currently pursuing CPA certification. She resides in the south suburbs with her husband and three sons. Outside of work, Elice enjoys quality time with her family, trying new restaurants, and watching sports.

 

ALEXIS CERNY

Alexis has been a senior accountant on Bradford Allen’s Property Accounting Team since 2022. She is responsible for financial reporting and general data management for various properties.

Before joining Bradford Allen, Alexis worked for other commercial Real Estate companies, including Equity Residential, Zeller, and MB Real Estate, where she gained experience with residential development accounting and operational property accounting.

Alexis holds a master’s degree in accounting. She grew up in New Jersey and now resides in the Edgewater neighborhood with her husband and dog. In her free time, she enjoys nature, music, and traveling.

 

LAKESHA THREATT

Lakesha Threatt is the Senior Corporate Accountant at Bradford Allen. With over 22 years of accounting experience, Lakesha is responsible for overseeing all daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliation. She also provides financial information to internal and external stakeholders via financial statements, as well as being the liaison for the annual audits.

Her main focus is to add to the ever-growing accounting team by being adaptable and supporting the team where needed. According to a Gallup strengths-finder test, Lakesha is very strong in the areas of responsibility, learning, and achievement. These three themes drive who she is, taking ownership of anything she commits to, loving the process of learning, and looking forward to reaching goals that she sets for herself. Lakesha is experienced in using Financial Edge Accounting Software and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Lakesha previously worked as an Accounting Manager at Center for Research Libraries, a not-for-profit research library where she oversaw month-end closing, acted as grant funds administrator, and managed treasury management for the organization. She managed and coached a team of three, working to improve workflows and accounting processes.

Lakesha is family-oriented and loves to travel with her family. In her free time, she loves to sew with her daughter and enjoy beautiful walks along the lakefront. She also volunteers at local food pantries throughout the year. Lakesha’s favorite time of the year is Chicago summers.

 

BRIAN NELSON

With 15 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, Brian brings a wealth of expertise to the role. He has a strong ability to analyze, manipulate and interpret large amounts of data through extensive Excel modeling, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In addition, he has experience interacting with C-level executives. Prior to joining BA, Brian served as Director of Finance at Wolters Kluwer, where he was a strategic finance partner to the leadership team of the Clinical Surveillance, Compliance & Data Solutions Health Business Unit. He also worked as Senior Manager of Finance/Analytics at Allstate Insurance and as Finance Manager at Walgreen. Brian received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Illinois, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. He is married with two young boys and enjoys playing golf and hockey in his free time.

 

TARA TURNER

Tara is the payroll manager at Bradford Allen, where she oversees all aspects of payroll. With over 25 years of expertise in payroll and accounting, Tara is a self-motivated team player, driven by results and continuous improvement. Prior to joining Bradford Allen, she held the position of payroll manager at a notable not-for-profit organization, managing all facets of payroll and taxes.

Tara is an active member of the American Payroll Association, the Chicago Payroll Association, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Additionally, she offers her expertise as a notary. Tara earned her bachelor of business administration from Robert Morris University and a master’s in human resource management from Saint Xavier University.

Residing in the south suburbs with her husband and son, Tara is a dedicated basketball mom, relishing every moment at her son’s games. She is also deeply involved in her church, where she holds positions on the board and serves as the treasurer.

 

PAT STANTON

 

BEATRIZ SANCHEZ

Beatriz joined Bradford Allen in 2021. In her role as a staff accountant, she works on various properties managing the month-end close process, such as working on bank reconciliations and posting journal entries. Additionally, she prepares financial statements on a monthly basis and helps to prepare tenant reconciliations on an annual basis. She is experienced in using MRI Software and Microsoft Office, with a focus in Excel.

Before joining the Bradford Allen team, Beatriz worked in Oak Brook for Mid-America Real Estate Group, where she prepared financial statements for various retail real estate properties. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Elmhurst University in 2019.

Beatriz currently resides in Schaumburg, where she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading a good book, or watching movies. Her interests include constantly learning new hobbies, such as crocheting or baking.

 

JOHN McGUIRE

 

WALEITHA MARLOWE

Waleitha joined Bradford Allen in 2014 after working with for-profit organizations and real estate firms including Indcor, Transwestern, and RREEF Property Management Company. With more than three decades of diverse accounting experience, Waleitha brings a wealth of knowledge to her role.

Supporting the firm’s executives, property managers, and leasing agents, Waleitha’s financial knowledge is crucial to ensuring the expert handling of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and various payroll functions. Detail oriented, Waleitha is a proficient problem solver and an asset to the firm. Her other responsibilities include tenant and vendor relationship management and acting as banking liaison on the firm’s behalf.

Waleitha lives on the Southeast side of Chicago and has four daughters. A self-proclaimed “professional shopper,” she has a serious passion for online shopping. In addition, Waleitha is the executive administrative coordinator for her pastor at Trinity All Nations Deliverance Ministries.

 

JOHN SCHREIBER

John joined Bradford Allen in 2020 from Magnolia Capital, where he oversaw property accounting as a Senior Accountant. John previously worked at JLL as a corporate accountant before transitioning to a financial analyst role. As a Director within our Finance department, he performs the month-end close process for a number of properties, in addition to completing any lender reporting requirements and supporting financial audits when applicable. He brings more than five years of industry experience to his role.

A Chicago native, John was born and raised in the Edison Park neighborhood. He holds bachelor’s degrees from DePaul University in accounting and finance. In his free time, John enjoys golf and remains an avid sports fan.

 

SAM HADDAD

Sam is the Chief Financial Officer at Bradford Allen and has more than 25 years of corporate finance, capital markets, investment banking, and accounting experience.

As CFO, he is primarily responsible for managing the company’s finances, including financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, financial reporting and analysis of data. He supervises the finance unit and is the chief financial spokesperson for the organization. Sam is also responsible for developing strategic and tactical matters relating to financial management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding. Sam is passionate about maintaining the quality of work and a high standard of excellence. He strives to make things more efficient and to utilize technology to drive down costs. In addition, he has a strong work ethic and is committed to doing the right thing and operating with integrity.

Prior to joining the firm, he served as Senior Director and Group Manager for the BRM Capital Markets division of Fitch Ratings. Sam was Vice President, Investment Banking for Comerica Bank, a $65B, publicly traded top 20 US bank holding company where he originated, executed and structured debt, equity and financial advisory engagements in public and private capital markets. Additionally, he was Vice President, Finance and Treasurer for the Martin Brower Company. In these capacities Sam has raised and structured a significant amount of capital in several countries and currencies; issued both debt and equity securities; completed several global M & A transactions; managed pension assets; managed corporate finance functions such as financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, financial modeling and accounting; as well as global cash management.

Sam holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola University, Chicago. Sam lives in the Chicago area with his wife and children. In his spare time, he is an avid Chicago Bears fan and also enjoys golf and gardening.
