Cody leads brand strategy, marketing, and communications for Bradford Allen out of the downtown Chicago headquarters. He’s currently focused on redeveloping the firm’s brand identity, guiding the marketing team in establishing the practices and processes needed to build brand equity and streamline content and campaigns. Working closely with executive staff, he is responsible for implementing policies and programs to facilitate growth, as well as monitoring the development of support collateral across business lines.
Cody joins Bradford Allen after three years with JLL, where he most recently served as a senior content writer for the Midwest Region. Previously, Cody worked with the JLL National Marketing team, writing the firm’s stylebook and assisting with tone of voice development for the 2017 global rebranding. Cody was also the lead copy editor for the firm’s national real estate journal, Ambitions. His work has been recognized in the Chicago market with a VIP award for growth-oriented marketing, as well as nationally with three Best of Americas Marketing awards.
Residing in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, Cody enjoys spending time at the lake, running, reading, and playing piano. He is a graduate of Western Illinois University, where he earned a B.A. and M.A. in English.
